COVID-19
OUR COMMITMENT TO WELLBEING
In response to the current world-wide contingency and the development of Covid-19 pandemic, we continue monitoring the latest Covid-19 updates to follow and adapt with recommendations on how to navigate with upmost safety and everyone’s safety, health and wellbeing.
On July 15th 2020 we reopened both properties, after fulfilling all requirements needed for the “Safety First” Certification required by local authorities in San Miguel de Allende.
WHAT OUR GUESTS SHOULD EXPECT
As we navigate through this pandemic, looking forward to better days, we continue to learn and adapt to this “new normal” making this transition as easy and comfortable for everyone.
We are continuously monitoring and following the changes in recommendations and guidelines of the local governments and the local health authorities, to continue working towards providing the best service possible while safeguarding the safety of our guests and staff, within the requirements issued by such local authorities.
When arriving to the hotel, guests will have their temperature checked and asked to use antibacterial gel, and walk through a sanitizing floor mat. Face masks are required by law in San Miguel de Allende, and must be worn at all times in all public areas of the hotel. If a guest is not wearing one, we will provide one.
HYGENE AND SAFETY PRACTICES
A strict sanitizing and cleaning protocol has been enforced throughout all areas of our properties, all suites are disinfected prior to guest’s arrivals, and will be cleaned during their stay as required and asked for.
Antibacterial gel stations can be found all around our properties, and all bathrooms have neutral soap and instructions on how to properly wash one’s hands.
Our breakfast buffet will be a la carte only, with programmed seating to avoid large gathering. QR codes will be provided for guests in their suites, with our breakfast and our main restaurant’s menu, both inside their suites and in our Morning Room tables.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
In compliance with requirements by local government and health authorities practicing social distancing is advised in all public and common areas of the hotel, asking our guests to keep at least 1.5M distance from individuals or groups that they are not travelling with. In addition, we have introduced an updated seating plan in our pool areas and dining areas to ensure that social distancing is being practiced.
While our pool is open, we encourage guests to maintain our “2 guest” policy to ensure social distancing. The same policy applies for the use of our elevator.
OUR STAFF AND THEIR WELLBEING
Our staff’s health and wellbeing is being closely monitored, making sure to not only have them follow our health protocols with temperature checks and constantly sanitizing themselves.
But also, keeping us informed of any possible symptoms.
OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We are aware that our currents situation remains uncertain, meaning not all travel plans may result as planned. Therefore, we have introduced a 48-hour free changeable policy, that allows you to reschedule your trip up to 48 hours before your arrival without any penalties.
YOUR PERSONAL OASIS
Both L’Ôtel properties characterize themselves for their open spaces and distributions, making them a perfect oasis for our guests when, as there can be as little interaction with other guests as they wish. It is our mission to make our guests feel as safe and comfortable as possible during their time with us, to ensure an unforgettable time and have them return.
